From September 4th to 17th, 2000 we made a tour of Corsica: one of the most fascinating and mysterious isles of the Mediterranean sea. Among its many natural and historical beauties are also lots of ancient sites: enigmatic human faces carved on standing stones, dolmens and long stone alignments

On this website you can find an online travel diary, which was updated in real time. Armed with hi-tech equipment, we have tried to link to computers around the world, and have let you follow our tour, interact with archaeologists and experts, view images from the journey, and learn about the ancient Corsican monuments.

Have a look at our two-week diary, and discover with us the most beautiful Corsican megaliths, the tiny Romanesque churches hidden in the woods, the proud people of Corsica, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, and other interesting corners of this wonderful island.
