On
the crest of a hill not far from Tarland (Kincardine and Deeside), this
recumbent stone circle of 18m in diameter consists of an incomplete ring
of six pale red granite stones (five upright and one fallen), a whinstone
recumbent and its two fallen flankers.
Inside the circle there was a ring-cairn 14m in diameter and an inner setting.
