Its thickness varies from 19cm at its base to 35cm in the middle. Nearby there are traces of other structures. The monolith is covered by at least seven species of lichens. A Heritage Walk links the standing stone with two ruined chambered cairns (Braeside and Huntersquoy) and with the fine Vinquoy tomb on the summit of Vinquoy Hill. |
