Weekend course: 'The Neolithic of Jersey'

Among their weekend courses, the Department of Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Bristol is offering "An Island in Isolation: the Neolithic of Jersey" course.
The tutor, George Nash, has made an extensive study of the Neolithic occupation of Jersey over a number of years.  His research has brought valuable insight to this most fascinating island with its evidence of burial mounds, stone axes and rock art set close to the coast of Armorica, a very important area of activity in Neolithic north-west Europe.
The course will be held on Saturday June 4th, from 9.30am to 5pm. Reference: B04 B011 AXA; location - LT1, 43 Woodland Road, Bristol (England). Fee:  £30. For more information, please contact Catherine Shepherd, Centre for Historic Environment, Department of Archaeology & Anthropology, University of Bristol, 43 Woodland Road, Clifton, Bristol   BS8 1UU.
