Weekend course: 'The Neolithic of Jersey'
Among their weekend courses, the Department of Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Bristol is offering "An Island in Isolation: the Neolithic of Jersey" course.
The tutor, George Nash, has made an extensive study of the Neolithic occupation of Jersey over a number of years. His research has brought valuable insight to this most fascinating island with its evidence of burial mounds, stone axes and rock art set close to the coast of Armorica, a very important area of activity in Neolithic north-west Europe.
