Ulster's ancient heritage explored

The DOE's Environment and Heritage Service (Northern Ireland) has announced that Archaeology Days events will explore topics such as what happens on an archaeological dig and at the rebuilding of a wedge tomb. There will be demonstrations of ancient weaponry and crafts and a tour of an ancient battle site.
The events include an open day at the school of Archaeology and Palaeoecology QUB; turn your own prehistoric pottery in the Ulster Museum; a mock archaeological dig in Derry; and a rebuilding of Ballybriest tomb near An Creagan.
Archaeology Days information is available on the website www.ehsni.gov.uk
